“March 11, 2025: In immediate response to our field assessment, OCPD coordinated with Samaritan’s Purse to establish a permanent mobile clinic at Musa Jaber Center, addressing the critical medical gap.”

Date: March 11, 2025
As part of One Community for Peace and Development’s ongoing efforts, our mission went beyond merely assessing needs—we took immediate, tangible action to address the critical conditions facing displaced families.
Swift Action Following our field assessment (March 9–11), which revealed a severe shortage of medical care at Musa Jaber Shelter Center, we took urgent steps to tackle this crisis.
Partnership for Impact We reached out to Samaritan’s Purse, who responded swiftly. On March 11, they successfully established a permanent mobile clinic at the center, providing essential medical support to patients and those in desperate need.
Gratitude We extend our sincere gratitude to the SP Coordination Office for their vital contribution to healthcare services in vulnerable areas and for meeting the needs of the most affected individuals.
Our Commitment At OCPD, we remain committed to standing with displaced communities, working with our partners to identify challenges, and contributing to real, sustainable change. Together, we continue the journey of hope and resilience. that women’s empowerment is fundamental to rebuilding war-affected communities, One Community for Peace and Development is implementing projects that strengthen their resilience. These include economic empowerment programs to support displaced women through vocational training and small businesses, psychological and social support initiatives for women affected by violence and displacement, and awareness campaigns on women’s rights to combat violence and enhance their role in peacebuilding.
At One Community for Peace and Development, we reaffirm our commitment to continuous efforts in supporting Sudanese women in their struggle for a dignified life and a secure future. Peace cannot be achieved without their participation, and development cannot be complete without empowerment.
